My Love for Krishna
I love Krishna in His two manifestations. As my son I love Him. When I hear someone tells about Him, tears roll up in my eyes.
One day I asked myself as why do I love Him? For a moment there came no reply to this introspection. But then arose a torrent of summed up fragments of thoughts in my subconscious thought levels. I love Him for his mischief. One day His mother beat Him severely for eating sand. She asked Him to open His mouth. He did not. She repeatedly asked Him. He seemed not listening to her words. She got angry and started beating Him black and blue. Then He opened His mouth. Lo!! It was unbelievable and indescribable what she saw in His mouth. She found the whole universe whirling round, where she could see everything including herself and also the sand which He was found eating. This thought rolls up tears in my eyes. He is there in anything and everything. He is omnipotent and omnipresent. He can shrink as small as a little drop of dew and He can grow as vast as a mighty ocean. He manifests in the whole cosmos. When gopikas (His female play mates) were bathing in the river Yamuna, one day he stole their clothes and asked them to go near Him. They grew shy as it is natural with womanhood. He taught them an eternal truth as there is no veil of shyness, fear, hatred or any other emotion other than love to reach Him. This incident throb my heart. Love has no barrier. It is full by itself. There is no lesser or greater love. It merges in love. The eternal love of Radha and Krishna freshen up my thoughts and spirit. This thought draws me closer to my wife. The love of Prakriti and its Creator. He is a celebration to everybody. His thoughts celebrate my mind. Pranams, to my Love my Lord. - Jayaprakash T. S.
